Returns
Gertrude Jekyll Designs has a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you receive it, unused, in its original packaging and unopened.
Only items purchased on the www.gertrudejekylldesigns.com website can be returned to Gertrude Jekyll Designs for a refund or an exchange. Items purchased in a department store, speciality retailer or elsewhere much be returned to their original place of purchase.
To start a return, please contact us. If you return is accepted, we’ll send you a return authorisation number and return shipping address to post the goods back to. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted – further to this, items posted back to our registered office address will not be accepted.

You are responsible for the shipping costs incurred when sending items back to Gertrude Jekyll Designs. We strongly advise using a tracked and signed service to ensure your items reach us. Please retain your postal receipt until you are certain your items have been safely received by Gertrude Jekyll Designs.
Please note Gertrude Jekyll Designs will not pay for the cost of return postage unless the goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged. Should a refund be requested, the original postage and return postage charge will not be refunded. We process our returns as soon as they are received, but during busy periods there may occasionally be a delay. Refunds can only be made to the original method of payment. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the items you have purchased, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note it can take 5-10 days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
